Performance Test Engineer - Contractor

Job Description:

We are looking for a performance test engineer to perform short-term test-plan evaluation & performance testing at our Foxboro, MA facility. You will review existing test plans & identify gaps, set up the testing environment for a clustered JBoss deployment and implement testing using in-house as well as commonly available tools (such as jMeter) to execute the test plans. You will provide the following deliverables:

• A completed report detailing the performance profile for the Axeda product line running in a cluster JBoss environment
• Identification of test-plan gaps & updates to the test plan to cover them

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years in a performance testing role
• 5+ years of Java programming experience, C/C++ background desirable as well.
• 5+ years performance testing using commonly available test tools such as JMeter., JUnit, JProfiler, etc.
• 2+ years installing & configuring clustered JBoss deployments
• 5+ years Unix, Windows OS scripting skills
