Description:
The Software QA Engineer
will report directly to the QA Manager. This position involves some functional
testing with heavy emphasis on non-UI testing. The candidate must be
experienced with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The position is challenging and a lot of fun.

Expected Background:
·
Minimum
of BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree
·
5 years
in technology field with 3+ years of QA testing experience
·
Experience
working on applications that require non-UI testing
·
Hands-on
experience writing SQL queries. Experience using SQL Server 2000 and/or SQL
Server 2005
·
Experience
installing enterprise software, configuring IIS
·
Writing
automated tests is a plus
·
Windows
experience is a must, Linux a plus
·
Must
have some experience programming with one or more languages
·
Experience
in scripting languages such as JavaScript or VBScript
·
Knowledge
of load testing tools like LoadRunner, webLOAD is a plus
·
Strong
knowledge/understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
·
Experience
analyzing functional specifications and business requirements to come up with
QA test plans
·
Experience
creating defect reports and documenting test results
·
Ability
to prioritize and handle multiple projects at the same time
·
Previous
experience in both black and white box testing
