Sr. Software Quality Engineer                                  Location:  Norwood, MA, USA

 

 

For our Norwood, MA location we are seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer to:

 

• Design, develop, execute and maintain manual and automated testing.

§        Maintain and improve the build and test infrastructure.

§        Perform software release life cycle activities.

§        Maintain the installer.

§        Work closely with software engineers to develop functional test cases, providing maximum test coverage.

§        Report bugs and verify bug fixes.

§        Review Documentation.

§        Store all code, scripts and specifications under source control.

§        Work with DSP processors and embedded software.

 

 Requirements are

 

§        BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

§        5 – 8+ years’ experience in software testing and/or development.

§        Strong troubleshooting, debugging and problem solving skills.

§        Experience with acceptance, functional, integration, regression and compatibility testing.

§        Strong self motivated individual with excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

§        Proficiency with multiple scripting languages (i.e., Python, Java).

§        Experience with assembly, C, C++ and commercial installers is a plus.

§        Understanding Windows operating system.

§        Experience with CVS or source code control is a plus.
